Have you ever thought about standing for Council?

VIRWC is running a program to train immigrant and refugee women to run for local government in the October 2016 elections.

Fridays 13 and 20 May, 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Mondays 30 May and 6 June, 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Multicultural Hub, 506 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne

Day 1:  Campaign basics: planning your campaign
Day 2:  Getting your message across
Day 3:  Preference voting and other election strategies
Day 4:  Fundraising for your campaign
